My name is Amanda Espinoza. I am a 34 year old-happily married woman, and mother of 4 between the ages of 13 and 10… I have a set of twins. I started an elimination diet before starting THM, because some of my children had been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and Celiac disease. I wanted to lose weight and could not with the heavy real food and crossover diet our Dr. had us on. Enter THM… My life saver! I started in March 2013 and noticed an immediate difference. Pearl’s chapter on hormones changed my life as I had recently had a partial hysterectomy and was going psycho! We eventually found we had to use GAPS to help heal my children’s and my gut… but I knew I couldn’t stop THM. It was a completely easy transition. I found I could easily keep my THM principles while following a modified-for-me GAPS diet. I continue to follow both THM and GAPS for mine and my families ultimate healing! Thank you THM! You have given me such knowledge…. Life changing!
